Finding Series B Companies Lacking Sales Enablement Roles

·
·

Hey all - I am looking for a way to build out a table that only has companies without a certain job title already hired. For instance, Series B companies without anyone in their Sales Enablement team. I've tried using Apollo and getting mixed results so any help would be appreciated!

Hello Owen, thank you for reaching out! 👋 You can first pull in your list of target startups, then leverage Claygent to check each website for existing roles. Here’s how you can get started: Step 1: Find Relevant Startups To find startups using Clay, here are two options I’d recommend exploring: 1. Scrape Relevant Webpages Use the Clay Chrome Extension to scrape webpages that list startups or funding announcements. Here’s how you can set it up: Clay Chrome Extension. 2. Use the Find Company Tool in Clay Clay’s Find Company Search tool is a powerful way to identify startups that match your specific criteria. Here’s how to use it: • Define Search Parameters: Filter companies by attributes such as industry, size, location, keywords, and more. • Set Record Limits: Limit the number of results to make sure you receive relevant, manageable lists. • Run Search and Refine Results: Preview company profiles to refine your criteria as needed. • Import Results: Save the results to a new or existing table in Clay, where you can further enrich the data. You can learn more about this feature here: Find Company Overview. Step 2: Check for Existing Sales Enablement Roles via Claygent Once you have your list of Series B companies, you can use Claygent (Clay’s AI Web Scraper) to investigate each company’s website (e.g., “careers” or “team” page) to see if there’s any mention of a particular role. 1. Go to the Enrichment Panel in your Clay workspace, look for Claygent under AI Tools. 2. Choose Your Model (e.g., Argon, Helium, or Neon) 3. Provide Clear Context: For instance, instruct Claygent to check the team page for “Sales Enablement” roles. For a full walkthrough on how to use Claygent, check out our guide here: Claygent: AI Web Scraper – Clay 101 I hope that helps you build out your table! Let us know if you have any other questions. 😁
