Tips for Using Clay to Reach Independent Physicians

Hi all - will soon be getting back into Clay after a ~2 year hiatus. Is anyone here using Clay to contact physicians at independent medical practices? ICP structure: - medical specialty (e.g. interventional cardiology) - states (e.g. michigan, illinois) - Not a hospital-owned practice —> must be an independent practice - 1-5 doctors (I do not want the search to count a nurse practitioner or physician assistant as a doctor) I need the linkedin url and email (ideally personal email) of each doctor in the practice. Would be grateful for any tips on build such a table. I imagine that honing in on the right number of doctors might require some manual work. thank you!

Wow, that’s great to hear you’re getting back into Clay! Here’s how I’d approach it: 1. Start with Google Maps Search: Use this guide to find independent medical practices by specialty and location: Find Businesses with Google Maps. 2. Find Doctors: Use Clay’s free Find People search to locate doctors in those practices: Find People. You can manually refine results to ensure only doctors (not nurse practitioners or physician assistants) are counted. 3. Use Claygent for Extra Leads: If any results are missing, use Claygent to find additional leads. In Claygent, you can use prompts from the library and specify outputs like the LinkedIn URL. You can also configure it to return more than one contact if available. 4. Personal Email: Once you have the list, apply Clay’s personal email waterfall to retrieve emails for those doctors. Thanks for sharing Amit! Scrap.io is currently not integrated with Clay, but you can use Clay credits with the Google Maps integration.
