Whenever I update the search terms in a table, I get a message in the edit source window that states that the number of results has been updated, but the number of results in the table doesn’t change. Is there something I should be doing to make sure that it gets updated accordingly? Please see attached pic for example.
Thanks for reaching out! 😊 Could you provide a bit more detail on this? Specifically: • What are you trying to edit the sources for • Could you share the URL of the table so I can take a closer look? This will help me better understand the issue and guide you on what steps to take to ensure the results update correctly. Looking forward to your response! 👍
Thanks, Bo (.. Will DM you the responses
Feel free to send it over! 😊 The table URL won’t be publicly accessible—only we can access it. Looking forward to checking it out! 👍
IIRC, I modified the ‘Exclude job titles’ field so that I could remove irrelevant job titles from the results
Exactly! 😊 Typically, it won’t remove past data but will just add on top of it. I’m guessing you’re asking because you’re still seeing those titles, right? It should remove duplicates, but it won’t remove existing data from the table. For example, if you had 100 people in the table, and you update the source to 120, but there are 5 duplicates, you’ll end up with 115. However, if you originally had 100 people and later remove 10 from the source, those 10 won’t be automatically removed from the table—they’ll stay there unless you manually take them out. To clean things up and organize the data better, you can use filters. Here’s the guide again to help with that: Loom Video. Let me know if you need any more help! 👍
Thanks, Bo (. I appreciate your help and responsiveness!
Welcome! 😊 Keep me posted if there’s anything else I can help with. I’m here if you need me! 👍
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
