Hi guys, do you know how I can scrape the LinkedIn jobs that list a hiring manager in the description. It seems like Claygent cannot open the LinkedIn jobs URL and "search jobs" does not provide the info if there is a hiring person... I would also be happy to scrape it from LinkedIn's interface but LinkedHelper unfortunately does not support scraping jobs. Thanks a lot in advance for your help!
apify actors
Apify is your best bet
Thank you!
Hello Alexander! Thank you for reaching out! Leo and Muhammad are correct — Apify is your best bet for scraping LinkedIn jobs that mention a hiring manager in the description. Apify offers several actors that can scrape job postings from LinkedIn and extract the relevant information you’re looking for, including descriptions with hiring manager details. Here’s how you can get started: 1. Find the right Apify actor A good starting point is the LinkedIn Jobs Scraper, which is designed specifically for extracting LinkedIn job data. While it may not explicitly filter for hiring manager mentions, it pulls detailed job descriptions where you can search for this information manually or programmatically. 2. Integrate Apify with Clay You can seamlessly integrate Apify with Clay to automatically import job data into a table for analysis. To do this: * Connect your Apify account to Clay using your API key. * Use the Apify integration to import job data directly into your Clay table or enrich existing data. * For a step-by-step guide, check out Apify Integration Overview. 3. Configure your scraping criteria When setting up the Apify actor, you can input LinkedIn search URLs or job posting links as the input. This ensures you’re targeting the correct job listings. If you need help configuring the JSON input for the Apify actor, let me know! 4. Process and filter for hiring manager mentions Once you’ve imported the data into Clay, you can create filters to isolate job postings that mention a hiring manager in the description. You can use Clay’s formula capabilities to flag rows containing specific keywords like “hiring manager,” “contact,” or other relevant phrases. Let me know if you’d like any help with setting up Apify or configuring your Clay table! 😊
Thanks a lot for the info!
No problem! Always happy to help.
