Convert Emails to LinkedIn Profiles Using Claygent: A Simple Guide

ยท
ยท

I saw a workflow created by Andreas W. to convert email addresses into LinkedIn profiles, and it was great. Here's another simple way to do it using Claygent, especially if you have first names and email addresses ๐Ÿ™Œ

  1. 1.

Start with a Clay table that has "First name" and "Email address" as columns.

  2. 2.

Create a new column named "Email Domain Name" - pull out everything between "@" and "." from the "Email address" column. Use Clay's AI formula generator for this.

  3. 3.

Add another column named "LinkedIn URL Search" where you combine the "First name", "Email address", and the phrase "site:linkedin.com/in/" with spaces in between. Again, use the AI formula.

  4. 4.

Finally, create a new Claygent column that searches Google for the "LinkedIn URL Search" phrase and picks the first result. If the email domain appears in their work experience or about section, you've found the right profile.

I Hope this helps ๐Ÿ™‚
