Hello there, I hope you're doing well ! π By any chance, does someone have a template for searching subsidiaries by domain with the parent/child relationship please?
Hi Bastien, thanks for reaching out! We actually have a Claygent template already set up that does this! Simply search "Find child companies" in the enrichment menu and you will see the template below. Feel free to give this a try and let me know what you think! https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1218410004/211359fbd1e1a9b409ff03f9a835/CleanShot+2024-10-16+at+13_42_29%402x.png?expires=1729102500&signature=8974cd21a6547dec848f0df582f135b7808e97e9150e1f320a2146208e7edf77&req=dSImHs1%2FnYFfXfMW1HO4zdqzdvvOl6WbvfqkI9AjC0kbo8yWDwi38df316kr%0ATubl%0A
great thanks ! it worked as expected
I tried through People data Labs which worked as well, it gives ID to subsidiaries but I have no clue on how to match to actual company, do you know how to do it pretty please ?
thanks a lot !
Hey, thanks for that. The only way I see is to match those found subsidiaries from the Clayagent to the subsidiary Ids is to enrich those with people data labs again for verification. But this would cost you additional credits. Just curious, may I ask what you're trying to achieve? Maybe we can find a workaround for you. However, if you require the match with people data labs, here's how you can proceed: 1. Parent Table (already set up) 2. Create "Subsidiary Id" table: Populate this table with subsidiary ids (see image). https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1219317524/c693e8c73411ccd0a2b1a9c5e7c9/Berrycast_KmxqhnFvPB.png?expires=1729170000&signature=1ddc5489d13965c72c1def485047d90bfd0aabfc17848d1bf83c5f15e25f0263&req=dSImH8p%2FmoRdXfMW1HO4zU3Q2qAG%2BtQTwzZvlV87aWEM3PhYP8A7cCe2eqAx%0A8iVp%0A 3. Create "Subsidiary company names" table (from Clayagent): Add subsidiaries to a new table, enrich with people data labs to get the ids and use a lookup to match them with the Subsidiary id table. If a match is found, it means the subsidiary id aligns with the one in the parent/subsidiary id table. You have to rewrite the prompt to output JSON data. That way, we can write them to a new table. Let me know if all makes sense and happy to jump in if you hit any hiccups! Or book a call here: https://meetings.hubspot.com/meet-clay/cx-support-call
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback Bastien D.!
No worries at all! π You can definitely use your own API key with Claygent, which would help reduce costs. Iβm curiousβwhat was your end goal here? There might be some more efficient ways to achieve it without going through all those costly steps. Let me know, and Iβd be happy to explore some alternatives with you! π
