Hi Dino, happy to provide some context here!
There’s always a few reasons this might happen, like keywords, profiles that don’t exist anymore, job changes, fake profiles, or more.
But sounds like here it could be most likely because we also have limitations for private profiles.
Our data providers use a multitude of ways to access people and company data. For the most part, we don’t use your cookie/login data. This means we might miss some information here and there, especially if there are privacy restrictions in place for certain profiles. This means your logged-in profile has access to it, but our data providers may not.
Here are some alternatives:
1. Remove Keywords: Try checking if it brings more people with different titles like 'Head Sales' instead 'Head Of Sales'
2. Check on Linkedin/SalesNav: See if you can find why certain people are missing.
3. Use Different Sources: We have more than 50 data providers that can find people. Use the “add enrichment” button at the top right of the page. Claygent usually works well if you want to find a certain profiles. It also has a pre-made prompts already in it’s prompt library Or use “Find Person from Google Search.”
While Clay gives you access to a lot of data, we’re not a data provider. Our philosophy is that if the data is online, you can find it and orchestrate it inside of Clay—you just need to get creative. Instead of getting blocked in the nitty-gritty of one missing profile, we prefer doing things at scale without any worries. We’re continuously working on these tools to improve coverage though!
😊 Thanks for reaching out! Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with! 🌟
