In may personal Clay account it says that I have a limit of 1000 rows when I import the data but when I actually import it only shows 50 rows and asks to upgrade the package to show the rest 950 rows... why is that?
You're seeing this because trial and free accounts are limited to 50 rows per table, regardless of how much data you import. The 1000 credits you see refer to your enrichment credits for testing features, not row limits. [1]
This 50-row limit helps new users explore Clay's features without accidentally using all credits on one large table. [2] To access all your imported rows, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan which removes the row limitation.
Did that answer your question?
If you need any more help understanding the row limits or upgrading options, I’m here to assist. Would you like to share more about what you’re trying to achieve with your data import?
I'm not talking about credits, I'm talking about row limits. It says I have a limit of 1000 but asks to upgrade to view the rest of the 950 rows
I understand your frustration with the row limits. I’ll connect you to a human agent who can assist you further with this issue.

Hey Hassan, I completely understand the confusion. The 50–row limit is part of how our free trial is designed. Our goal is to give you full access to Clay’s functionality on a smaller dataset so you can experience everything the platform can do without restriction. From our experience, 50 rows is typically enough to demonstrate the value Clay provides and help you decide whether it’s the right fit for your workflow.
If you’d like to explore Clay more deeply, upgrading will unlock 50k rows while keeping all the functionality you’ve already tested.
We haven't heard back from you here, so we're going to go ahead and close this thread out.
