๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm trying to figure out how to get a LinkedIn URL using multiple columns of (messy) information. In particular, I have the following columns:

  • column with name (in the format of LAST, FIRST) - fairly clean

  • a few columns that are messy / sometimes inaccurate / sometimes blank:

  • company name

  • industry

  • title

The current manual workflow I have is:

  • search Google for all the info I have for a given row + "LinkedIn" + [company function] (most people on the list should be of a similar function)

  • find the LinkedIn that is the highest match; if I can't find it, I leave it blank

  • paste the LinkedIn back into the "LinkedIn column"

I looked into the "LinkedIn Profile" waterfall, but it only allows for input data via work email or personal email. Is there a way to get what I'm looking for?

Hey hey! Can you drop the URL for your table here? (if applicable) ๐Ÿซถ Don't worry, only admins will be able to open your table ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hey Dean, thanks for reaching out! Happy to mention a workflow and integrations in the order they should help achieve this perhaps a bit more accurately and at scale: 1. Create a 'formula' to combine first and last names into full name 2. If you don't have the company domain, you can find it with the Find Domain waterfall with just the company name. 3. Use the LinkedIn integration "Find Contacts at Company" and provide it the company domain, the person's full name, and maybe even their title in the available input section. This should help; let me know!
