Request for Help: Writing Enriched Data Back to Original Table

Β·
Β·

Hello Clay ppl-- can someone help with a quick write to table request? I wrote contact data to another table, and deduped by company name. I then enriched with new columns. I want to send the new columns back to the original table and populate 'one to many' -- so in other words, I want all contacts from the same company to get the new enriched columns. I've done this in the past, but forgot the process. I've also googled this, looked on YT, Clay support. All I am finding is basic write to table re: sending lists over-- not how to write back to original table to populate your enriched columns across all contacts with a similar variable. Any help here? Thanks!

To write enriched columns back to your original table and populate them across all contacts with the same company name, you can use our "write to table" feature. Here's how: 1. In your enriched company table, use the "Write to Other Table" function. 2. Select your original people table as the destination. 3. Choose the enriched columns you want to write back. 4. Map these columns to the corresponding fields in your people table. 5. Use the company name as the matching key to ensure all contacts from the same company receive the enriched data. After this process, rerun the lookup in your people table to pull in the new company data. This will ensure all contacts have updated company information.
