I have a list of google my businesses in a clay table with their page, position on the page. I want to mention the names of three businesses ranking above a particular google my business page in an email. For example, if business A, B, C are ranking above business D, I want the names of business A, B, C to be automatically added in a new clay column in the row of business D - how to do this in clay?
You can create this using Clay's AI Column feature. Here's how: 1. Open your table with the Google My Business data 2. Click "Add Column" > "Add Column using AI" 3. In the description field, you can enter something like: "List the names of the three businesses that rank above this business based on the page and position data in this row" 4. Click "Continue" 5. Configure the parameters as needed 6. Click "Save"The AI will analyze the existing data in your table (page numbers and positions) and generate a new column containing the names of the businesses ranking above each business. Hey there, thanks for reaching out! Great use case you're looking to implement here. Do you have a table started where we can take a look?
i managed to find the solution to this actually
thanks for getting back
That's great! What did you end up doing?
Used openai to find competitors ranking on a particular search and scraped them and extracted their rank and name
got the output in json which allowed me to create new columns for all rows easily
Would you mind sending the table url? This is a great campaign and I'd love to share it internally!
iβd be giving away my entire strategy if i do that π
No worries Kaushik, this would just be for the Clay team to see how other users are being creative in Clay. Totally up to you!
