Fixing Auto Assignment of Leads in Salesforce Update Records

ยท
ยท

Hello, I just tried to update some records on salesforce with enriched emails and all the leads were unassigned before and in my leads queue but when I updated them with the update record column in clay, it assigned all my leads to me within sales force which is not what I want - I just want them to stay assigned where they are. Should I be using this "disable auto assignment" option within the sales force update record modal and that will fix it or do I need to do something else? I have the id for the lead status (leads queue) if that helps thanks

When updating Salesforce records with enriched data, you can follow these steps:1. First, specify the Salesforce Record ID for the records you want to update. If you don't have the Record ID, you can use the Lookup record action to find it. 2. Select the appropriate Salesforce Object you want to update (like Leads or Contacts). 3. When mapping your fields, toggle on the "Remove Blank Values" option. This ensures you're not overwriting existing populated fields with blank values, which will help preserve existing data like lead assignments. 4. Clay will then update only the specified enriched fields while maintaining other existing record information, including ownership and assignment details. This is the field that I'm looking to maintain the same - as in, I dont want clay to change the lead owner at all.
