Hi everyone! I'm trying to run up a SMMA (social media marketing agency) and just bought Clay for a month's time as that's all I have within my budget. I was wondering if I could get some help on how to use Clay to find leads specifically for cold calling? I would rather start email campaigns however I just don't have a larger budget for that.
(don't have a table yet)
specifically, I guess I'm asking for how to find phone numbers of CEO's
Hey Ethan!
Thanks for the context below
check this out!
It’s a whole video on how to find local businesses + founder/CEO. It also shows you how to use the pre-built workflow we have for this:)
I checked that out, however is it possible to filter out 1-10 employee companies from the start kind of similar to linkedin searching? This way the table is alot cleaner and also uses much less credits.
The way I'm trying is by inputting all the companies and later enriching by clicking enrich data top right and selecting employee count (which then shows all the companies employee count instead of filtering to 1-10 employees
Yep you can do linkedin company size + location -> it’s not always the best source for true local businesses though (we’ve seen a lot of local businesses lack linkedin company profiles)
You can use the linkedin “Find Company” source to find companies based on size/location:
Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding, yes that's what I meant
is there a way to do it through the local companies search and not linkedin search
Haha sorry, I was referring to that
ahh gotcha, all good!
Unfortunately not., For the linkedin search, we have access to linkedin company data to filter these companies out
But for the Local business flow, we’re finding the business owner based on google maps info (Which doesn’t have company size)
I see
and so what do you personally recommend I should do if I'm trying to find only small local businesses and their ceos?
I’d stick with the google maps workflow. And then run enrich company based on the LinkedIn Company URL of the most recent experience returned from the enrich person source(if there is one)
alright I'll try it out
