I'm using Clay to find phone numbers of CEOs and cold call but every single call except one so far has been forwarded to voice mail. Wondering if I could get some advice on this? (Made about 15 calls so far)
Send a text - then call?
Was just wondering if clay's numbers are usually accurate to CEO's?
Yeah I mean, no sales intel tool is 100%
to give yourself a vote of confidence, look up some of your peeps within your company
I did with some of our eng folks and sure enough the info was accurate
gotcha
but getting them to answer, well that's a different story... you'll have to strategize on that.
Got it, thank you
one more question
Yeah yup
In what category are coaching and fitness businesses in?
for clay?
Because there is nothing really for fitness
no clue
Alright no worries haha
but I'd use Claygent to go find those type of businesses
where would I do that?
still new to this
yep
basically source the closest industry that will pull "coaching and fitness businesses"
yes but where would I do that in clay
before I make a table?
then use claygent to look for exactly what you're looking for. it'll look through google to find what your looking for
after
oh so a blank table
yep
correct?
alright
then I click enrich data?
I was given this and it helped
alright ill check it out
yup - trust me it's the future
so from what I understand
because the whole article is about campaigns btw
scroll down
I would ask claygent in the same area where I would also about campaigns?
"2. Basic AI Sales Prospecting prompts"
i g2g but that should help
alright appreciate it
yep anytime man!
Hey there Ethan sorry for the delay.
hey
I'm trying to do what he said but am getting an error
So Willy is right about the first question you have, as for the second one on looking for Coaching and fitness businesses" there is an option to enter in the description of what type of company your are looking for when making a new table with using the "Find Companies using LinkedIn" option.
Yes I typed in coaching however none of the companies were actually coaching companies..
That being said, "Professional Training and Coaching" and "Wellness and Fitness Services" are probably the industries you are looking for.
Ah, I just found professional training and coaching
quick question
Yes
instead of using the method of paying lots of credits for a phone number
could I use claygent to scrape the CEO's numbers?
for 1 credit per row?
That is a good question, let me try testing that on my end and I'll let you know.
alright thank you
So I'm still doing some testing with Claygent but in the mean time you can try reading our SMB guide to find phone numbers, fair warning it will be a little trickier to find CEO's and their numbers, but could still have some results.- https://www.clay.com/blog/scraping-google-maps-niche-lead-generationFind owner emails for SMB: - Table: https://app.clay.com/shared-table/share_z59ysbNEEB70 - Explanation: [https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity::7158142012704047105/](https:://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7158142012704047105/)
alright
I originally tried to use google maps local leads but the biggest problem with that was that if I want small companies with 1 to 10 employees it can't do that..
Yea that's what can make the process tricky, since most small sized companies can vary in terms of how much presence they have on the web in general.
yup
So after testing with Claygent, if given a detailed prompt results can be found, now whether or not the accuracy is high is the only thing I cannot guarantee.
I see
and to double check with you
all I need is the phone number
technically since some of the businesses are self employed or 2-10 (or at least should be) it can even be the business phone number
I would still use claygent for that?
Yes Claygent can accomplish that, its going to come down to the prompt you give it, but it can be done.
and is claygent the best task for that?
I have this table right here and need the numbers
suggestions on how to get them in this case?
all for cold calling
So if the goal is minimize the amount of credits use to find the relevant data, then Claygent can accomplish this. You will need to prompt it to search each company for any information on it's CEO/Owner and to return any associated phone numbers. Now the prompt will not be as simple as that, the more details you give it the better it can perform the action and the better the results will be.
gotcha
