Reliability of LinkedIn Find Contacts at Company Feature for Keyword Search

·
·

I tested “Find Contacts at Company” and searched for “Experience Description Keywords”. However, it didn’t find profiles even though I double checked manually and it should have matched profiles based on the Keywords I had added. How reliable is the Linkedin “Find contacts at Company” based on the Keyword search? Is there a way on how I can improve the reliability?

I'll check your setup and see if anything is missing, but it should pick up profiles unless they're private. This is likely because our LinkedIn integrations don't use your active session or cookies to find data on LinkedIn. The tradeoff is that it could miss some information here and there, especially if there are privacy restrictions in their profiles, meaning that you need to be logged into an account to see all the data, that could be a limitation set by LinkedIn or the person themselves.

It appears you did find a few people, right? Let me know if you had other keywords you tested and didn't get any results. We can verify if the profiles are restricted

Indeed I found a few profiles with very generic terms. Is there a way how I can check if a profile is restricted?

Sorry for the delay! The way to test profiles is with an incognito tab, without logging into LinkedIn... if you can't see any fields like experience or anything like it without LI asking you to log in, then that would be considered a private/restricted profile
