Triggering Slack Messages as DMs to Users or Groups
Is there a way to trigger Slack messages as DMs to individual users or groups of users, rather than a channel?
Currently, our Slack integration only supports sending messages to channels, not direct messages to individual users or groups. The "Send Message to Channel" action allows you to post messages to specified Slack channels using a bot. To reach specific users, you could create a dedicated channel for your target audience and use the "Send Message to Channel" action to post there. Alternatively, you might mention specific users in your channel message using their Slack handles. Is there a particular reason you need to send direct messages rather than posting to a channel?
