Troubleshooting Clay Email Sequencer Campaign Generation Error

Hi I am trying to create a campaign using the Clay email sequencer. When I click generate campaign after inputing my prompt in "Draft messages with AI" I get the error message - see attached screenshot Can I get help with this?

Check that your sender account is properly connected - if you're using Google OAuth or Microsoft Outlook OAuth, make sure your workspace admin has authorized the Clay Sequencer app for your domain, or you'll see access errors. Can you click into the specific error cell to see if there are more detailed error messages that might help pinpoint the exact issue?

I have not completed the Google OAuth configuration yet as I am waiting on my google admin for this I tried to click on the error message however there are no details from it

That explains it — the "Failed to create message group" error is happening because your Google OAuth setup isn't complete yet. The email sequencer requires full OAuth authorization before you can generate campaigns. [1]
Once your Google Workspace admin authorizes the Clay Sequencer app (under Security → API Controls → Domain-wide delegation), it can take up to 24 hours for Google to recognize the change. After that's done, you should be able to generate campaigns without this error.
In the meantime, if you want to explore building your campaign setup or workflow, try using Sculptor (top-right corner) — it's free and can help you prepare everything so you're ready to go once OAuth is approved.
