After some improved performance over the weekend and this morning, platform is unfortunately unusable again https://www.loom.com/share/c98719cb498f4b04bd041a2f44f81fe6?sid=18a1feae-840f-4ec3-b232-ea76ee42c60b
Performance issues in Clay are often temporary and can be resolved with a hard refresh of your browser: For Mac: ** Chrome/Firefox: Press Cmd + Shift + R ** Safari: Press Cmd + Option + R For PC: * Chrome, Firefox, Edge: Press Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + R This clears your browser cache and refreshes the view, which typically resolves most performance issues and error messages. Performance issues are more common with larger tables or complex workflows with multiple linked tables.
Hi there, Thank you for reaching out about this issue and for trying the troubleshooting steps. We’re aware that some accounts have been reporting slowness and our engineering team is looking into it! In the meantime, we are still working to narrow down the exact behaviors to replicate the slowness and identify specific actions in the product that are causing this issue. Your video here definitely helps us with this, (seriously, there's a lot of detail here that we can work with). I want you to know that this is a top priority for us and we're hoping to get this resolved soon. I've gone ahead and shared this internally and will update you as soon as I know more. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we're grateful for your patience as we try and sort this out!
Thank you Munnawar H., I'll keep sharing as these things come up.
Thank you I appreciate it! In the meantime, here are a few things that can help with performance: ** Complete a hard refresh of your browser and computer ** Clear browser cache regularly ** Avoid Chrome Dev Tools or ad blockers being open as it significantly slows performance ** Ensure a strong, stable internet connection ** Use the latest version of Google Chrome ** Close unused tabs or browser extensions
thanks Munnawar, I did these things as part of trouble shooting previously, and issues still persist.
Okay thank you for that context! Sorry to hear that didn't help.
Hi Joel - can you try now? We just fixed something that should help your table
Thanks Brandon, checking this out now
Thanks Brandon G. this is like light speed by comparison so far
I'll give it a proper test drive and update
Awesome! We have some additional performance improvements coming today - I'll let you know when they're out
🙏 thanks Brandon, look forward to it
Most of our users are now offline, so performance does tend to improve at this time, tomorrow around mid day our time is when it'll be put through it's paces, so I'll drop further updates here then too.
but this is night and day by comparison so far, so is encouraging to see. Thanks 🙂
Hi Joel B. - let me know how it performs tomorrow!
Brandon G. big improvements overall today. some minor things but not getting in the way, and only happening when high volume processing is happening. back to normal 🙏
