hey team, one of my Clay table went bersek and consumed $1200 in GPT API over a few hours yesterday. I cannot figure out what happened and which table causes it.... My average daily usage is few dollars and never broken $50/daily. Can someone help me with this?
To identify which table caused the unexpected GPT API charge: 1. Check your credit usage dashboard by clicking your account name > Settings > Credit usage 2. View the breakdown by table, sorted by "Credits used" to see which consumed the most You can also check table history by opening the suspect table and clicking ⟲ View Table History at the bottom right to see what operations ran To prevent future unexpected charges: ** Test enrichments on a few rows before updating entire tables ** Turn off auto-update by clicking the three-dot icon beside the table name
Hey there Andi sorry for the delay here, do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look?
Hey Luis, idk which table went berserk lol that’s the biggest issue. I manually checked all the tables I worked on yesterday and couldn’t find anything absurd
Ballpark math it should’ve used maybe at absolute most $20-30 yesterday
Ah I see will look into this
Thank you! Lmk when you find something plz. This is scary
Hey there Andi the following table all show recent runs of columns and each contain a high number of AI columns as well. Further note the last link is to a work book where the first two tables had numerous AI runs. https://app.clay.com/workspaces/449716/workbooks/wb_0sx8p0fPM8EQjhnWzex/tables/t_0sx8p0xhoZoPFf7eG5H/views/gv_0sx8p0xeBnGg8ScgXac https://app.clay.com/workspaces/449716/workbooks/wb_0sx9jl9njAXuddgPkGz/tables/t_0sx9jl9vxZM9qZc2rDo/views/gv_0sx8lf47CWgSKt7vbUD https://app.clay.com/workspaces/449716/workbooks/wb_0sx8lcexurT4WchmTqT/tables/t_0sx8lf4HjdnW9obaFgY/views/gv_0sx8lf47CWgSKt7vbUD https://app.clay.com/workspaces/449716/workbooks/wb_0sx8lcexurT4WchmTqT/tables/t_0sx8lf4HjdnW9obaFgY/views/gv_0sx8lf47CWgSKt7vbUD
ty Luis! I just checked them, all the claygent records cosst $0.000X per run so it still doesnt make sense. There's about 7~8K records, 2-3 runs/record. So 24K runs at most and that should've maybe hit $25 at most. Even if I reran the columns by accident and lets double or even triple the amount that's $75 at most -- no where near the $1,200 burn
is there a way to see the detailed run log from Clay? Or have someone from Clay take a look at?
Hey there Andi sorry for the delay here, let me check in with the team about this as there currently is no way for us to check at this moment.
gotcha, let me know what happens Luis!
