Question: when i hide some columns, are they still active, i.e. can other columns reference them or make formulas on them, although they are hidden? or will be be kind of deactivated for the table?
When you hide columns in a table, they remain active and can still be referenced by other columns or used in formulas. Hiding a column is simply a way to simplify your table view and doesn't affect the column's functionality.
To hide a column:
1. Click on the column header
2. Select 'Hide' from the dropdown menu
To show hidden columns again:
1. Click the 'Columns' button above the table
2. Use the toggle next to each column to show or hide it
3. Or click 'Show all columns' to display everything
Remember, hidden columns retain all their data and can be used in calculations, even when not visible in the table view.
