Hi everyone, I am trying to understand what was triggered to exhaust all my credits. Is it from this table? Email is mathew@speer.io
To check what caused your credits to be exhausted, you can: 1. Go to Settings > Plans and Billing to view your credit usage details. If you were using the Find Work Email process, credit depletion could occur during email validation attempts. This is a common scenario when running email finder operations. Without access to your specific usage data, I cannot determine the exact cause. You'll need to check your billing section to review your recent credit usage. If you need more detailed information about what specifically consumed your credits, you can request human assistance by clicking on "Talk to a person".
I'm having the same problem
You can check what consumed your credits by following these steps: 1. Click your account name in the corner 2. Go to Settings > Credit Usage 3. In the Workspace section, you'll see: • Folders, workbooks, and tables sorted by usage • Credit consumption for each item • When credits were used • Which specific integrations were used To prevent unexpected credit depletion in the future: ** Test enrichments on a few rows before updating entire tables ** Turn off auto-update by clicking the three-dot icon beside table names Note: Even if you've deleted tables, they may have consumed credits before deletion. You can check the trash folder for any deleted tables that might have used credits.
When I press "stop updates" it should stop. If it doesn't then why even have that button?
Hey Mathew
I just asked the team to add you to the beta credits reporting. You should have access shortly. That'll help you understand better where your credits are going.
Jalen - Can you share more about what's happening so we can get to the bottom of this? If pressing "stop updates" isn't working as expected, we definitely want to look into that.
Thanks Bo (., this helps a lot. I did some digging and see that a large number of rows of data were GPT'd without me authorizing this. I have a screen recording of the incident since I was doing a tutorial. Can this be refunded? https://app.clay.com/workspaces/90784/workbooks/wb_zxtXfR4kM7vD/tables/t_DpyMN3FVntA4/views/gv_GmcdPTBFHSTA
Hi Mathew!
Curious what happened? Would you mind showing me the error? I'd love to understand the situation and see the screen recording you mentioned. How many credits are we talking about here?
I want to make sure we understand what occurred so we can prevent it from happening again before adding the credits!
Hey Mathew, thanks for reaching out. Replied to you in regards to this situation in a separate thread. Will merge these two tickets. :)
Hey Mathew, thanks for reaching out. Replied to you in regards to this situation in a separate thread. Will close this thread out, lets continue chatting in the separate thread. :)
Hey, I am confused about the message responses here. This item isn't resolved
Please review this video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rmivqtctrvw1WX-LjvEwtFgDdw30aEqR/view I never triggered this table and the screenshots above to never run for more than 10 rows but it did. Please check this video and I would appreciate a refund on the credits considering that my renewal is in 19 hours
Hey Mathew, It looks like the video you shared requires certain permissions that I don’t have access to. Regarding this table, I see that 25,000 rows were added on March 4th, which is right around when this thread was opened. This credit spend might have happened if an AI column was initially tested on 10 rows, followed by an additional search or adding people from an existing search to the table. Also, keep in mind that columns will automatically run unless "auto-update" is turned off or the table itself is disabled. I’ve shared some tips in our other thread on how to save credits, and I’ve also added you to our credit reporting beta for better visibility into where credits are being spent. Happy to provide one last refund as well! Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help. :)
I have granted this email access (owen.ciha@clay.com) That's the thing - we added 25k people but we did not use GPT on those additional rows, please take a look
I would've used my API key - it would be great if you could review the video
Mathew, would love to take a look at the video! Not able to access it still. (image below) On our end it shows that 7k credits were spent using AI on the table linked here. Regardless, we've refunded these credits for you! :) Also, for clarity here's a breakdown of your credit spend in the last ten days. Breakdown Hope this helps clear things up, happy to dive into this further but unsure what else we can provide on our end outside of these materials as this is what our backend shows us. Let me know your thoughts!
I sent an email invite to your clay email address. Did you recieve it yet?
Hey there Mathew thanks for reaching out, checking with Owen about this.
Mathew! Apologies for the delay here, was out of office yesterday. Did not receive this email from you yet. Just started a new email thread with you at (mathew@speer.io) so you can send over this video and we can resolve this. :)
