Quick question, Iām using Clay's Webflow integration to generate templated websites for clients, but have a domain/hosting question: Current Setup: Our main site is built in Framer Clay integration pulls enriched data from clients to create CMS pages in Webflow (as slugs) I made a complete and SEO optimized template for clients to use The Problem: If our main site is in Framer, we can't add CMS slugs in Webflow. This means clients can only get CMS pages under our domain, not their own custom domain. Question: What's the recommended approach for clients who want their own domain with the Clay-generated Webflow template? Our Current Options: Copy the entire template to client's Webflow account (manual, doesn't scale) Keep clients as CMS slugs under our domain with backlinks Export to Framer CMS with Airtable/Sheets integration Is there a native way within Clay's integration to deploy the enriched Webflow template directly to a client's domain/account, or do you recommend a different workflow for this use case?
Our Webflow integration creates, retrieves, and updates items in Webflow collections but doesn't natively deploy templates directly to client domains or accounts. The integration works by connecting to your Webflow account and managing collection items within your existing sites. For clients to have their own domains, you'd need to manually copy templates to their Webflow accounts or keep them as CMS slugs under your domain, as you've identified. The integration is designed for creating personalized pages within a single Webflow site rather than cross-account deployment.
