Issue with Automatic Row Runs Causing Credit Loss in Clay Tables

Hi Clay team, there is something going on with my tables. Thousands of rows are being ran without me even pressing "run" causing me to lose 10k+ credits. . Can someone help me with this?

It sounds like you have auto-update enabled, which is causing your tables to automatically enrich new rows. To resolve this: 1. Turn off auto-update for the entire table: • Click the three dots next to your table name • Select "Auto-Update Columns" to disable it 2. For individual columns: • Click the column header • Go to column settings • Scroll to the bottom and toggle off 'Auto-Update' in 'run settings' To prevent this in the future, keep auto-update off while building your table. Only turn it on when you're ready to start enriching new entries automatically. If you need further assistance, please request to talk to a person in this chat.

Hey Jed - what I'm thinking here is your table was set to auto-update, which means rows are run automatically if there are some columns that are dependent on others. You can turn off this feature at the bottom of your table. It sounds like this was accidental so I was able to get approval for a one-time refund of 15k credits, but let us know if you have any questions to help make sure you don't run into this again!
