I'm running a find people search to pull everyone who has previously worked at a list of companies. The search returns their LinkedIn URL and their experience at that specific company, but not their current role or current employer. I need a way to extract their current job title, current company name, and current company URL from the LinkedIn URL without having to run a full enrichment on each person - without wasting credits
You can then reference specific endpoints from the enrichment results to pull the exact current role and company details you need without running full enrichments. [3]

how would i do this outside of clay?? to save credits??? like use n8n and apify to scrape and then populate back into clay?
Yes, you can use external scraping with n8n and Apify, then import the results back into Clay. [1]
However, the "Enrich Person from Profile" action at 1 credit per person is already quite cost-effective for this specific use case.
Is that what you were looking for?
but i have 30,000 contacts - so it would be 30,000
For 30,000 contacts, consider these alternatives:
External scraping approach: Use Apify + n8n to scrape profile data, then import back via our Apify integration. [1] You'll still use some credits for importing, but potentially fewer than 30,000.
Batch processing: Process smaller batches to spread credit usage over time if budget is the main concern.
The 1-credit "Enrich Person from Profile" is already our most cost-effective option for this specific use case, but external scraping could reduce total credit consumption.
Is that what you were looking for?
would it be a lot cheaper than 30,000?
External scraping with Apify + n8n would still require credits when importing data back into Clay through our Apify integration. [1] The exact savings depend on how much data you import versus the full enrichment cost.
However, you can use your own API keys with external tools completely free in Clay - no credits charged when you connect your own subscriptions. [2] This could eliminate the 30,000 credit cost entirely if you have your own scraping setup.
At ~1 cent per enrichment, 30,000 credits would cost around $300, which is already significantly cheaper than traditional providers like Zoominfo. [3]
Did that answer your question?
all i want is current title, current employer, and current employer website
Use "Enrich Person from Profile" with your profile URLs - it returns exactly what you need: current job title, current employer, and current employer website. [1]
You can reference specific endpoints from the enrichment results to pull the current title, company name, and company URL from the "Latest Experience" field. [2]
At 1 credit per person, this is the most cost-effective option for getting current employment data from profile URLs.
