You can estimate your credit usage in the "Find companies" section in a few ways: 1. For basic company searches: • You'll be charged 1 credit per result returned • You can set an overall record limit (up to 50,000 records per search) to control the number of results 2. To get a precise estimate: • Use the Credits Calculator tool on Clay.com to calculate your expected monthly credit needs • Select the specific data points you want to enrich for each company (like Tech Stack, Employee Count, Revenue, etc.)Important note: The initial prospecting/searching process is free - you only pay credits for the actual data enrichment when you import the results. so if I have a search already defined (as in the screenshot attached) - there's no way for me to get an actual estimate of how many credits will I need to get all of the results from this search?

Currently, there isn't a way to get an automatic estimate of total credits needed for a specific search before importing the results. However, here's how you can manage and estimate your credit usage: 1. You can set an overall record limit (up to 50,000 records per search) to control the number of companies returned. 2. For individual data points, you can see the credit cost in the enrichment panel - look for the green cost bubble on the far right of each action. To get a general estimate of your credit needs, you can use the Credits Calculator tool on Clay.com, where you can select specific data points you want to enrich for each company.Remember: The initial prospecting/searching process itself is free - credits are only charged when you enrich the data after importing the results. Finding companies using the native Find Companies feature doesn't consume credits. However, there's an upper limit of how many companies you can import based on the plan you are on. Ex: Starter has a limit of 5k per search.

The "Find companies" feature itself doesn't consume credits during the search process. Here's how you can estimate your potential credit usage: 1. First, check your plan's record limit for importing companies (e.g., up to 50,000 records per search). 2. To estimate the credits you'll need for enriching the data after import: • Use our Credits Calculator tool at Clay.com • Select which specific data points you want to enrich per company (e.g., Tech Stack, Employee Count, Revenue, etc.) • Enter the number of companies you plan to target • The calculator will show you the estimated credit requirementRemember: The initial company search and preview are free - credits are only consumed when you enrich the data after importing the results. Appreciate you Kushagra for jumping in here! Hey Miranda, Kushagra is right - the find people/companies/jobs sources are completely free! The only limitations are the number of results you can import per source which varies based on your pricing tier (see https://www.clay.com/pricing for the different limits per plan). Also note that you can add multiple find people/companies/jobs sources to a single table Let me know if you have any other questions! 😊
