How often is the job data brought up to date? We’ve experienced a number of circumstances now where the job data for a person is incorrect. There are far more recent position updates than that one found in the People search in Clay - which is killing our outreach efforts. For example this use case - has pulled current Title as CFO @ Interactive Life Forms .. however this person has had another full time role since then and has 2 longer established engagements. Data quality is poor.
Job data in Clay updates daily on standard plans, with more frequent updates available on enterprise plans. To ensure current job information for outreach, you can: 1. Use Scheduled Sources to automatically refresh data on a recurring basis 2. Set up Monitor for Job Changes signals to track when contacts change positions 3. Implement an automated refresh strategy using Last Enrichment Date to strategically update contacts whose information needs refreshing 4. Connect your CRM for automatic updates when company or contact details change These approaches help maintain accurate job data without manual intervention.
It's not that data isn't updating - it's just pulling the wrong data. Why?
It clearly isn't his most recent role
Hey, This usually happens when the data provider misses context or pulls an outdated role, even if the profile has newer updates. Sometimes it’s due to privacy settings or recent changes that haven’t been indexed yet. To get the most accurate and up-to-date info, try using “Enrich Person from Profile” with the person’s LinkedIn URL—this pulls directly from their live profile. Let me know if you want help setting that up.
Yes, that’s right — use Find People to get the lead, then run Enrich Person from Profile with their LinkedIn URL for the most accurate info. Let me know if you want help setting it up.
Ok easy.
Appreciate it mate
Hey Alex! Apologies for the delay. This is the enrichment. Let me know if that helps!
