Hey Julie, thanks for reaching out! When a column in Clay, like your "Website" column, is greyed out, it indicates that one of the columns it depends on has changed. To resolve this, you'll need to rerun the column that changed so that your greyed out column can get the updated data. Hope this helps! Feel free to reach out with any other questions! :)

I re-ran the columns but it's still greyed out. Could you have a look please Owen C.? This is the table: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/329237/workbooks/wb_7BAqHfBwyHsA/tables/t_zT5rSigUTCgT/views/gv_25iqkCNyVjWh

Hi there! Thanks so much for reaching out! I’ve reviewed your table, and it looks like the issue has been resolved. (see image) (Let me know if I'm missing something or if you're still unable to select this) Quick Recap of the problem: * Issue: The 'website' option was greyed out when trying to select a Company Domain within the Work Email waterfall, which prevented you from running it. * Resolution: You can now select 'website' as an option, so the waterfall should function as expected. A Few things to consider: * Since this is a company-level waterfall, running it here may not yield the most targeted results. It could return general business or catch-all emails, which might not be the most effective way to reach the right contacts. Suggested next steps: 1. Define Your ICP (Ideal Customer Profile): Decide who within the companies you’d like to target—e.g., sales manager, CEO, COO, etc. 2. Use Clay’s 'Find People at These Companies' Action: This will help you create a new table with a list of specific ICP contacts at these companies. 3. Run the 'Work Email' Waterfall on the New Table: This will help you gather accurate contact info for each identified person. Let me know if this helps or if you have any additional questions! 😊 I'm here to assist. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1223599180/32ce992832e64552798694b95813/CleanShot+2024-10-21+at+13_31_47%402x.png?expires=1729534500&signature=ca15c33d73501b8554c6e5c82afff19a8ec17efea035f8aba34330a8ec35a788&req=dSIlFcx3lIBXWfMW1HO4zWlcS7DqZCr3WAMMCJv2SGnxqzbmgfOnJ%2FzcWZO3%0AqY9%2B%0A

Hey Julie, I’m really sorry to hear that this issue is still happening. To help clarify things, I’ve recorded a quick Loom video explaining what’s causing the infinite loop message. Loom Video Regarding the waterfall issue, could you please record a video of you trying to select that column as an input? I’d like to see what it looks like on your end, as I’m able to select 'website' as an option on my end. I hope this helps clarify the issue with the infinite loop! If not, please let me know, and we can look into it further. I’m looking forward to seeing what the waterfall looks like on your end. Thank you! 😊

HI Owen C. Thanks for the video, I added a comment but the domain columm doesn't come from Salesforce, it's the domain that was listed when I did the original Clay pull. Or does that column automatically update once you lookup records in SF to be the information in SF??

Hey Julie, Thank you for catching that! Here's what's happening: Domain Column Behavior: * Since the Domain column comes from the original Clay pull, it won't auto-update when the SFDC lookup columns run. This is because there's no conditional formula or relationship set between the two columns. Identified Infinite Loop: * The 'Name' formula column is set up to first try to retrieve the company name from 'Imported Companies'. * If that doesn't exist, it defaults to the ID from the first record found in the Lookup Record. * The issue arises when the 'Imported Companies' column isn't present. In this case, the formula tries to fall back on the SFDC lookup. Since there’s no stop condition, it keeps attempting to fetch the 'ID' from the SFDC lookup, creating an infinite loop. To resolve this, remove any mention or attempt to pull a SFDC for any inputs actively being used to lookup a SFDC record. If it's easier, I recorded a quick video walking through this infinite loop: Video Hope this resolves the issue! Please let me know how the change goes and if you have any other questions! :)
