Limit of 2500 resulted in only 1802 rows enriched with people - why?

Hello! I have tried the "Find people" feature. I uploaded a table of 9K companies, including their Linkedin company page. Then, I launched the "Find people" feature, specifying '2500' as the limit of the search. But I got 'only' 1802 rows enriched with people. Why is it so? Why not 2500 rows?

So the "Limit" is used to cap off a search if there happens to be a large number of profile found. It does not guarantee that there will be 2500 results.
