I have set this table up so that it receives contacts from another table. It can find emails and mobiles (but the latter is SO expensive). I would like to be able to make 2 clicks per row to have it proceed a) to find emails, then b) to find mobile numbers. So if I don't like the look of a lead I don't click either. Or if I only want email I only click that sequence. How can I do this? https://app.clay.com/workspaces/251093/tables/t_99awSZHvjADf/views/gv_hRrNPFkDssYB (Also, is there a way to filter so that I only see the contacts that were the latest to be added?). thanks!
๐ Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hey Steve! ๐ If by โtwo clicksโ you mean manual clicks, hereโs a simple solution: 1. Create a Checkbox Column: Add a checkbox column to your table. You can then manually check it for each lead, depending on whether you want to find emails, mobile numbers, or both. 2. Add Conditional Formulas: Set up conditional formulas that control the enrichments. This will prevent the email or mobile number lookup from running unless the checkbox is selected. This way, you have full control over when each action runs! https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1209293899/e00659d7336ebb67b98009928d06/CleanShot+2024-10-08+at+_39HxKB3S9O.gif?expires=1728418500&signature=6ee0dd87bfe5557faf14190fe920857b3dcbe09e8a42f7a7da7bbaaff4821b69&req=dSInH8t3nolWUPMW1HO4zQhzIJ8B2eJ%2BLr16XfOIJ83IhannAs1ohth5Nq%2BT%0Aw%2BC%2B%0A As for filtering the latest contacts added, you can sort by the created date or use a filter to only display the most recent entries. Iโve also included a gif to guide you through the process. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1209293980/b0cecde7a11f7519fcb70031ff23/CleanShot+2024-10-08+at+_40rvgssXRW.gif?expires=1728418500&signature=2194ff89c349de77cb0c878eee4f4689665a51b79da99a051e4cb906d31467a5&req=dSInH8t3nohXWfMW1HO4zfelF3ZJTTwgae%2F6%2FZ%2Faec4yzuQFdH7SU1J4gY6b%0Aw%2FRm%0A Let me know if this helps or if you need further clarification! ๐
Hi Bo, thanks for this. I have created 2 columns, one called Get Email and another called Get Mobile. I tried to have the first column of the email waterfall be dependent on that tickbox being checked - didn't work. I then tried to have the final column of the email waterfall triggered by the checkbox - didn't work. I know what you're suggested is simple enough but the execution is not working for me. Where am I going wrong?
Hey Steve - I recorded a video for you here: https://cln.sh/n91GrJn7
Bo this is a brilliant response. Clear and thorough. Thanks so much! NB I'm not being allowed to add a find email waterfall as there are apparently too many columns. What's the limit?
Ignore me. Just found that you had filtered a load of them out of sight. Solved. Thanks again Bo!
Hi. Same table (https://app.clay.com/workspaces/251093/tables/t_99awSZHvjADf/views/gv_hRrNPFkDssYB) row 19. Apollo does not seem to have been triggered to search for this person's email. When I look in Apollo manually it shows his email as jonathan.mansley@lv.com, so there is an email for him in Apollo. I see that one of the emails found by the previous provider is the same (it found a few) and that was rejected by zerobounce, so maybe that is why Apollo was not triggered? But I see in the other rows that just because an email provider returns the same email as a previous provider found, it is still searched for it and I still get charged the credits. ie row 3, numerous email providers returned the exact same email, but zb rejected them all each time, however I got charged credits for all the providers returning the same email. Is that supposed to happen? and why doesn't Apollo trigger when an email has not yet been found and I can see apollo has an email when searched manually?
Also is there a way to add a given number of rows at the bottom of a table? ie 10 at once
Hey there Steve thanks for reaching out jumping in for Bo, to start off each table has a 72 column limit along with a 30 enrichment column limit as well. As to why the Apollo integration did not run for row 19 this is because looking at the results for the provider(see screenshot below) that come before Apollo we can see that FindyMail found a Valid email for this contact and thus there was no need for Apollo to run and use credits if a email was found. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1210402480/0731b9c1a9975b6723b8e1998b45/image.png?expires=1728493200&signature=c1c81c0399d49f9de621b0319981fbc824d7ae3d62299b6bee60dc61ed0bd47d&req=dSImFs1%2Bn4VXWfMW1HO4zdDX3TrPxUonHcaOp7mq8%2Bq0pTGMxOqkhgSB3UzA%0A5qd%2F%0A In regards to why providers will return the same email over and over again and you get charged for each one this is because Clay does not own these provider and so we have no way to predict if they'll have the same email or not and that's a valid charge for that provider so they will charge Clay and thus credits are deducted Also there is currently no way to add a bulk number of rows at once within Clay, you can only add one at a time, however this is something I can bring up with the team to see if it can be implemented in the future.
A belated thanks LuisArturo
