Hello, is there any way to automatically trigger one column to run after another has finished running? I saw there are some waterfall functionalities for people search, but I’d like to do that for a website search based on company + country (example: first using Claygent, then using clearbit if Claygent didn’t find anything). Thanks !
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
yes, you can control that via run settings/conditions, click on edit column scroll at the bottom and there you should see run settings
Thanks ! I already set run settings (e.g. run column B only if column A = Not found), but it doesn’t work because both columns run at the same time when my data is sent through webhook. So column A doesn’t have the time to be “not found” and column B runs anyways
Hey Camille! Thanks for reaching out! 😊 One way to tackle this is by nudging Clayagent in the manual waterwall to generate an output (under "Define column outputs") that can serve as a condition to trigger or skip Column B. But I'd be more than happy to delve into your specific scenario and offer some pointers on how to navigate through it. Can you share your table with me? Btw, my mom booked a sightseeing tour with GetYourGuide 2 weeks ago and see loved it! Great product.
Thanks Daniel ! Here is the table https://app.clay.com/workspaces/307531/tables/t_vtaTJQ4jJMSB/views/gv_qcC593H6GCyi - I want column “Find Domain from Company Name” only to run if Claygent (AI Web Researcher) = “Not found” and “Find Domain from Company Name (2)” to run only if “Find Domain from Company Name” doesn’t return results
Hey Camille - Here's how: The issue was due to the prompt you added ! :) https://cln.sh/yc8pGGsQ
