Hi everyone, I'm excited to explore Clay and its potential for improving our outreach efforts. I have a couple of specific use cases where I'd appreciate some insights: 1. LinkedIn outreach with second-degree connections: We have a large network of second-degree connections on LinkedIn. Can Clay be used to automate reach-outs to these connections through LinkedIn without requiring their email addresses? If not, is email the only channel Clay supports for outreach? 2. Personalized outreach with scraped email addresses: We have a database of over 9,000 work emails gathered from various sources. I'd like to leverage Clay for personalized outreach based on enrichments like their current job openings or relevant news articles. However, I couldn't find these enrichment options when experimenting with a sample database. Additionally, since we already have their email addresses, how would credit usage work in this scenario? For instance, if we use Clay to enrich their profiles with job postings, does that count as one credit per email address? These specific questions will help me better understand how Clay can fit into our workflow. I'm eager to learn more and appreciate any guidance you can provide.
Hey!
Clay doesn't send messages or emails for you! But Phatombuster can send linkedin messages I think!
Thanks Augustin R.
Hey, thanks for reaching out! Appreciate your patience! Maybe this page and credit explanation may help: Check out our "What are Clay Credits?" page and this forecasting calculator- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1raW9EM31z4iL92bYTgtZFhcBR-huIEGV6V4-a-CjkUg/edit#gid=942860155
As Augustin says, we don't currently have the option to send or do outreach directly from Clay but work as an end-to-end tool that allows you to establish connections from a starting point to the finished enriched values that you can then also connect to your sequencing provider. Giving you access to many different data providers all in a single place :)I believe another tool that allows you to do both, LinkedIn and/or Emails is Lemlist (which we have an integration with), so you could essentially personalize based on either option and export them over to that service to run your campaigns.
