I'm curious if anyone knows how to find headcount growth of a SPECIFIC department? I'm looking for companies who recently grew their marketing/sales department
π€ You've caught us outside of our support hours (9am-9pm EST), but don't worry - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in the thread below so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hey Harvey, great question! Right now, thereβs no built-in way to query historical department-specific headcount growth directly in Clay, but the team is working on enhancing that functionality. In the meantime, you could explore some external APIs that offer employee or department growth insights. Let me know if you need more info or help getting started! π
got it. thanks!
When you enrich a company by Apollo then you can see headcount growth in sales, engineering, support or other department
interesting -- is it a native apollo thing or a clay api? And can it be trusted in your experience?
You have to buy their subscription and then You can use Apollo's api key in Clay. I tried harmonic.io but it's too expensive, you can trust Apollo
Nice -- have you ran a campaign like this in the past? what's the accuracy level?
It's not 100% but you can say 90%. Another best thing about Apollo is it gives the estimated number of employees that are working in a company. For example, we are getting leads from clay with the filter 200 to 500 but when we check their LinkedIn profile, it shows the same 200+ but when we click on the employees, then we see that it's showing us only 30 so Apollo give you the employees count 30.
got it. thanks for this mate!
Check this! Hope it will help you to understand!
Noice! -- this is actually super useful. Thanks Faheem!
