Can I get a few additional days on my trial? I have not had time the last few days to complete my testing and still have a lot of credits in my account.
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hey Doug, thanks for the message and letting us know! Happy to provide a one-time extension to your free trial. Make sure you're currently logged into Clay and then go ahead and click this link - it'll give you another 2 weeks to play around. https://app.clay.com/extend-my-trial/
Hey Doug! 😊 I’ve updated your trial again, which also adjusted your credit amount. This will be the last time we’re able to extend it. Let me know what you’d like to test further, and I’d be happy to help you out and make sure you get the most out of it! 😊
Is there a way to check another table for duplicate leads and filter those out so that I don't waste credits enriching contacts already in our database?
For example if I upload to a blank table a list of Linkedin URL. In another table, I want to run prospecting via Linkedin. Can I reference the first table to filter out any matching linkedin url from the import so I don't waste on already enriched contacts?
Yes, you can absolutely check another table for duplicate leads to avoid enriching contacts that are already in your database. You can use the lookup feature to reference the first table and filter out any matching LinkedIn URLs from the import. Here’s a guide on how to set that up: Loom video on using lookup. Let me know if you need further help! 😊
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
Hey Bo (. my lookups are getting messed up because my imported values have http and not https and no / at the end of the URL. I tried standardizing with URL but still cannot get the format of the URLs to match in both tables. Is there a way to run like a find/replace in Clay or should I export back to Excel and re-upload?
Thanks! We've reopened this thread. You can continue to add more detail directly in this thread.
Hey Doug, thanks for reaching out! You can standardize your URLs directly in Clay using the Formula Tool. Instead of exporting back to Excel, you can create a formula that processes your URLs to match the format you need (e.g., converting http to https and adding a trailing / at the end). Here’s an example of a formula prompt you could use: Formula Prompt: Convert all URLs to start with “https” and ensure there’s a trailing slash at the end of the URL. For more detailed info on how to use formulas in Clay, check out this guide: How to Use AI Formulas. Let me know if that helps, and feel free to reach out if you need any more assistance! 😊
