Unexplained Last Modified Times in Client Workspace Issues

ยท
ยท

Something unusual with "last modified" times in this client workspace. The ones in red have not been touched by any of us, but yet show a recent modified time (same thing happened yesterday as well). The ones in blue are the ones I've actually worked on. I've checked with others and they haven't touched the workspace since last week!

The workspace is: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/39601 I'm genuinely modifying the tables now.

Is there a change in how this feature works? ie, is it now reflecting when it was automatically modified (by incoming webhook data)?

Yes, there is a specific behavior for webhook-based updates. When webhooks are configured, they automatically receive and update data in real-time whenever specific events occur. This means your table's "last modified" timestamp will update when new webhook data comes in, even if no manual changes were made. For tables using webhooks as the data source, this is particularly relevant with the passthrough table feature, where data is automatically processed in the following sequence:1. New rows are added via webhooks 2. Enrichments and operations run on the new data 3. The system reviews the table after a 60-second interval Sources: Configuring your table settings | Documentation | Clay University Webhook integration guide | Documentation | Clay University

Just for context on the above image - no one has touched those tables and yet the "last modified" date/time is changing.

The "last modified" timestamps are changing due to Clay's automated processes. By default, our system runs automatic syncs and updates every 24 hours. These timestamp updates can occur due to several automated activities:1. Regular data syncs and refreshes 2. Automated enrichment cycles 3. Data validation processesFor tables using webhooks as the data source, the timestamps will update when:1. New rows are added via webhooks 2. Enrichments and operations run on the data 3. The system reviews the table after processingIf you want to prevent these automatic updates, you can disable the auto-update feature through your table settings dropdown.
