Hi team - I am trying to find companies in the United States (cities: New York and Chicago) with 50–10,000 employees in these industries: Food & Beverage, Food & Beverage Services, Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Wine & Spirits, Wineries, Food Production. AI filter: Business type = B2C. I am not getting the records I expect. Could you check what I am doing wrong here? Screenshot attached. Thanks!
Your search looks comprehensive but might be too restrictive. Try these steps:
Simplify location filters - Instead of specific cities, try searching by state (New York, Illinois) first to see if results appear
Test industry combinations - Run separate searches for each industry group to identify which ones have data. Some industry categories might have limited coverage [1]
Remove the AI filter temporarily - The B2C business type filter combined with all other criteria might be too narrow [2]
Check your "All filters" - You have 1 additional filter applied that might be causing issues
Start by removing filters one by one until results appear, then add them back gradually. Also try our built-in AI tool Sculptor (top-right corner) - it can help optimize your search setup for free. Let me know if this helps!

This is what I am trying to do. Find U.S. companies in New York and Chicago in these industries: Food & Beverage, Food & Beverage Services, Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Wine & Spirits, Wineries, Food Production. Employee count: 50–10,000. AI filter: business type = B2C Then find people at those companies with any of these job titles: Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Brand Officer, Chief Innovation Officer, Innovation Manager, VP of Innovation, Vice President Marketing, VP Marketing, Vice President Innovation, VP Brand, Brand Director, Brand Manager, Marketing Manager, Creative Director, Director of Brand Management, Marketing Innovation Manager, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Senior VP Brand, Senior Vice President of Brand, Senior VP Marketing, Director of Brand Marketing, Senior Brand Manager, Senior Marketing Manager, VP of Product Innovation, Marketing Director, Senior Marketing Director, Senior Director of Marketing, Director of Marketing, Director of Innovation, Global Marketing Director, Vice President Global Brands, Vice President Brands, Sr Brand Manager, Head of Marketing, Head of Brand, Senior Brand Director.
Your setup looks correct. For the company search, set employee count to 51-200, 201-500, 501-1,000, 1,001-5,000, and 5,001-10,000 ranges. Include all your food industries and set location to New York and Chicago cities. [1] Keep the B2C AI filter.
Once you get companies, create a second table to find people at those companies using the job titles you listed. You can import the company domains from your first table and search for people with those specific titles. [2]
