hi quick question: it says if i use my own api key that it would be free to use a certain provider. how for example do i input my linkedin api key?
Hey hey! Can you drop the URL for your table here? (if applicable) 🫶 Don't worry, only admins will be able to open your table 😉
Hey Eric, thanks for reaching out! We usually have this explanation to help clarify, let me know if it helps, but tl;dr is that yes, if you bring your own API, you'll use your own credits with that provider instead of Clay credits.-> Clay is an aggregator/one access pass to 50+ data providers and their enrichment or data search services. Enrichments cost credits to run which you can see how much each one charges per search or result when you add them (cost established by the provider, and the green credit icon next to them), some will even refund the credits if they don't find data, _some still charge even if they don't find anything because they consider that a cost for them too which is then transferred to Clay_.If you use your own API key we won't charge you credits for that enrichment provider. Check out our "What are Clay Credits?" page and this forecasting calculator
Well, our LinkedIn integrations don't use your active session or cookies, so there's no way to input an API key for those. However, other providers like for email finders, chatGTP, or email validations for example, you can find the option in the settings or when adding the column.
Or you can even see the list of which ones you can add your key into here -> side panel -> settings -> integrations
