Hello Clay Team- I have side by side columns of 2 domain enrichments from company name. Using the prebuilt template in clay i get the green dot output with url selected for output. the more basic prompt i wrote returned the domain. why does the template output a green dot and not work? here's the table https://app.clay.com/workspaces/507736/workbooks/wb_f2h3Skit89Cm/tables/t_b8VrfVijk4gV/views/gv_2yzezisdCPmc
The prebuilt template in Clay for finding domains from company names doesn't actually output a green dot. It's designed to return the domain for each company name input. The green dot you're seeing is likely a visual indicator in the Clay interface, not the actual output of the enrichment. The "Find Domain from Company Name" action in Clay should return the domain as text in the designated output column. If you're not seeing the expected domain output, it could be due to a few reasons: 1. The enrichment might not have completed processing yet. 2. There might be an issue with the input data or the integration setup. 3. The output column might not be configured correctly to display the domain. Can you please check if the "Domain" or "Domain - Website" column in your table is populated with any data? This will help us determine if it's a display issue or an enrichment problem.
Hey Adam, Sorry about this—it looks like there’s a bug, and it’s coming from the model that’s throwing the error. I’ve flagged it and escalated it to our engineering team. We’ll follow up as soon as we have more info.
Adam, we’ve heard back from our engineering team and can confirm that we’re moving this item to our backlog. The team prioritizes bugs based on the severity and impact. To set expectations, items like this may not be addressed for some time. The timeline is based on the team's current existing set of work and upcoming feature releases. We still have this ticket filed against this bug, though. So if the status ever changes, this conversation will automatically re-open, and we can follow up with you. I recognize this isn't the end result you were hoping for, but wanted to be transparent with you.
