I’m running this table. And when using an email search waterfall, each tool shows it found a result but doesn’t pass the response to another column. I’d like to know the best way to fix this
The email waterfall is working correctly. When providers show they "found a result" but don't pass to the final column, it means the emails failed validation. The waterfall continues running when an email is found but fails the validation check - this ensures you get the highest quality data. Multiple providers run because the emails found were invalid, causing the next provider to run until a valid email is found. To see what's happening: ** Open the Columns Panel and unhide the validation columns to inspect the detailed validation steps ** The final validated emails appear in the last column of your table This is normal waterfall behavior - it only stops when a valid email is found or all providers are exhausted.

Hey Martin L., I had this issues in the past so just dropping in to help. I assume it's one or two scenarios:
You don't have auto-run on. So you have to manually run the validation steps.
You have 'Require validation success' or 'Only mark safe to send emails as valid" checked.
For option #2, I can't remember which one. But if you check those options, that means that for every single step in the waterfall, they would go through a validation. If it can't be determined as 100% valid, they would go to the next step in the waterfall process. So in the screenshot you showed, likely what is happening is that while all the email finders can find email, it didn't past the validation check. And if it didn't pass it, it would not return an email cause it would still be 'invalid' So I might uncheck those two, and do the validation of the email in a separate step.
Happy to help 👍
