How to Export List to Airtable and Create New Records without Duplicates

hey i wanted to export my list to airtable and create new records, but i dont want to have repeat records that i already have on my airtable. is there any way I can set a formula in which it looks at my airtable data and only creates new records if there arent any matching or similar entries already there?
