what is the cadence / timing of when a SFDC import via report is refreshed in Clay ? is it real-time ?
By default, Clay syncs Salesforce imports every 24 hours. While real-time syncing isn't available by default, there are two options available: 1. Enterprise plans may offer more frequent update intervals than the standard 24-hour sync. 2. If real-time data is essential for your CRM processes, you can set up a webhook connection. This requires additional API configuration and implementing Apex code to link your table to Salesforce. You can manage the auto-update settings by navigating to the top bar, clicking on your Table Name, and using the dropdown to Enable or Disable auto-update. is the 24 hours set to 12AM PST ?
While our sources confirm that Clay syncs Salesforce imports every 24 hours by default, they don't specify the exact time when this sync occurs. If you need to manage these updates, you can control the auto-update settings by navigating to the top bar, clicking on your Table Name, and using the dropdown to Enable or Disable auto-update.If you need real-time data synchronization, you might want to consider setting up a webhook connection. I am okay with the 24 hr update - just want to know how to change it so it updates at a certain 24 hr period time like 12AM PST
Hey Allister, thanks for reaching out! βΊοΈ Currently, the 24-hour auto-refresh is standard for all accounts, but I think if you manually trigger the update at 12AM PST, it should trigger the next one at 12AM PST the following day. In any case, we'll have a few more customizable scheduling features soon, such as changing it to every other day, per hour. The team is working on these and may have more information once it's ready to fully launch them. Am I correct to assume that you have the SDFC package? If so, you should be able to increase cadence/frequency there as well. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know! π Have a great Friday, Daniel
I do have the SFDC package, where can I adjust the cadence for that?
Hey Allister. Mark here, chiming in while Daniel is away. The package exists to add the quick action/button to Salesforce pages. And you can use the button to manually send data from Salesforce to a given Clay table. That button-clicking can't be automated, though. (Perhaps a clever Salesforce admin could, but that's not what it's intended for.) When you send data from Salesforce to Clay using the package buttons, the table can be set to auto-update when those new rows are added. So that's just like any other table, but the idea of "scheduling" for those buttons isn't really applicable. I hope that gets us on the same page, and apologies for any misunderstandings. Please let me know of other questions we can work through.
