Hey clay team, all my leads from my clay table got deleted except 1. Can someone assist?
I ran the upload to smartlead column and went to bed. Woke up and only 860 got uploaded. I checked the clay table and it's empty.
Anybody know what happened?
uh ill just talk with matt tomorrow. too difficult to explain
Hmm, I don't know how this could happen but will also relay it to the team in the meantime. Do you recall how many leads you had, an estimate?
yeah like 3000
like is there a log?
Basically I woke up and the table was empty except 1 lead that. Smartlead campaign had around 860 leads imported
I'll send the table to the dev team to see if the records can be recovered by chance.
if records cant be recovered, can you yall just give me some credits
like 10k, probably spent 10k including my openai gpt4 cost
but i actually want to know what caused this
thats probably way more important
Agreed, not sure how that could happen and shouldn't. I don't think anyone is online right now to check on it but will update you as soon as someone replies about it tomorrow and let you know if it was restored or if credits added back into the account
ok thanks
hmm so they were deleted by someone on my team?
is that 100% what your backend records show? As in that's for sure what happened? It's likely by accident but I would like to be 100% sure before addressing this with my team.
It's very likely it was done manually since there were different dates and record amounts. Here's the message I got: "I restored 2690 rows, which corresponds to the last bulk delete. However, I noticed that there were over 5000 rows that got deleted from this table, at different times. Based on the rough estimate of the 3000 rows from the user in the thread, I hopefully only restored the rows that he was interested in, but let me know if there's more that need to be restored."
that is weird
Hard to say without further analysis but some could've been duplicate records and they just used the dedupe feature for that but not sure if there were that many potential duplicates at those times...?
we do dedupe but its never 50+
