Why did the 2nd and 3rd steps run when we already found an email
Why no email in the merge colomn even though we found three emails!

This behavior is actually part of our email waterfall validation process. When the waterfall continues running even after finding an email, it typically means that the email was found but didn't pass our validation checks. We use ZeroBounce by default to validate all emails found during the waterfall process. This validation step ensures you're getting high-quality, usable email addresses. If an email fails validation, the waterfall will continue searching for a valid alternative. The reason you're not seeing any emails in the merge column is likely because none of the found emails passed the validation check. The validation columns are hidden by default to keep your table tidy, but you can unhide them to see exactly why certain emails aren't making it to the final column. but the status says valid?
first one says valid catch all but the other 2 say valid?
If you're seeing valid status but no emails in the merge column, you might want to check if you have the "only mark safe to send" option enabled in your settings. By default, catch-all emails are marked as valid, but if this option is turned on, these emails won't appear in the merge column even if they're technically valid. To troubleshoot this, I recommend unhiding the validation columns to see the complete validation details behind the scenes. This will help you understand exactly why the emails aren't making it to the final merge column. Based on your situation with valid emails not appearing in the merge column, this is likely happening because of the "only mark safe to send" setting. By default, catch-all emails are marked as valid, but if you have the "only mark safe to send" option enabled, these emails won't appear in the merge column even if they're technically valid.Since you mentioned that one email shows "valid catch-all" and two show "valid", you should check if this setting is enabled in your workflow. You can adjust this in your email validation settings to determine whether you want to include catch-all emails in your results.
