there is like a divider in the middle of my clay table that makes it hard to scroll... not sure how that happend but i want to get rid of it
It sounds like you might have accidentally pinned a column, which can create that divider effect you're seeing. Try this:
1. Click on the column header that's causing the issue
2. Look for a "Unpin" option in the dropdown menu and select it [1]
You can also check the Columns button at the top of your table to see if any columns are set to show/hide in a way that's creating this layout issue [2]
If that doesn't fix it, try using our built-in AI tool Sculptor (top-right corner) - it can help troubleshoot table layout issues quickly. Let me know if unpinning doesn't solve it!

I created new objects in HubSpot, based on the companies in my Clay table. And now I'm trying to then create these contacts in HubSpot to then be coincide with these specific companies. But I did the update object, which honestly like doesn't and didn't work at all. So then I realized that to do a create object, but when doing the create object, I don't actually see if there's like to actually pair it with like an object ID. Like, I don't have
To link contacts with your existing company objects in HubSpot, you'll need to use the Create association action after creating the contacts. [1]
Here's the workflow:
Use Create object to create your contacts in HubSpot
Then use Create association to link them to your companies
For the association, you'll need:
From object type: Contact
To object type: Company
From Object ID: The contact ID (from step 1)
To Object ID: Your company object ID

are you sure ?
Yes, I'm confident about the workflow. To link contacts to existing companies in HubSpot:
Create object - Creates your contacts in HubSpot
Create association - Links them to companies
For the association step, you need:
From object type: Contact
To object type: Company
From Object ID: The contact ID (from step 1)
To Object ID: Your company object ID [1]
Was that helpful?
Perfect! That error confirms the contacts already exist in HubSpot. You should use Lookup Contact first to check for existing contacts, then use Create or Update Contact with conditional runs to only create new ones. [1]
Set up the action to only run when no matching contact ID is found from your lookup step - this prevents duplicates and ensures clean data. [2]
Try using Sculptor (top-right corner) to help set this up quickly!
