When creating google doc through Clay - how do i make sure the link is in "view access" so anyone can view the doc? (or is it already in the view access type - or need to change any settings?)
When creating a Google Doc through Clay, the sharing settings aren't automatically configured for "view access." You'll need to manage sharing permissions directly in Google Docs after the document is created. Our Google Docs integration allows you to create documents from Clay, but sharing settings must be adjusted in Google Docs itself. After creating your document, open it in Google Docs and click the "Share" button in the top-right corner to set appropriate viewing permissions. What specific workflow are you using to create Google Docs from Clay?
i can't do that for every document if i'm sending that in bulk
Hey, To make sure the Google Doc link is viewable by anyone, set the permissions of the destination folder in Google Drive to “Anyone with the link can view.” Clay will automatically inherit that setting when creating the doc. Let me know if you have more questions.
