a tad confused about the BetterContact mobile phone enrichment. Why are we charged 30 credits if they find a phone number from a source like PeopleDataLabs or another Clay mobile provider partner that costs less than 30 credits? I understand paying 30 credits for the "Secret phone provider" but if its a redundant phone provider that's already in Clay then there should be a kickback of the difference in credits.

Hey John M., Roman here, co-founder of BetterContact - all of these providers you see in Clay’s waterfall are independently charging from each other BetterContact is a waterfall enrichment tool that has tools (such as PDL) which Clay waterfall also has - we have additional ones on top, and also verify the mobile phone numbers through various layers

I get your point though, but as providers as PDL charge us for a mobile phone and Clay independently, it’s not possible to implement such a functionality

Roman H. thanks for that insight. We're eager to try out the numbers for sure. We like Forager mobiles as they're very accurate and our next go-to is sometimes LeadMagic, but Forager gets us by.

Thank you for sharing, John! Yup, as Roman mentioned, it's a bit of a constraint due to how the data providers work. Of course, you can customize your waterfalls to follow Roman's suggestion to first try with your preferred providers and fallback on BC for more options they work with if all else fails :D
