Need Help Unblocking My Clay Account Linked to Gmail
My Clay got blocked 😕. Using Gmail account before I use one for work - just started yesterday. Can someone from Clay help me out? Emailed support but it's been 3 hours

Sweet, just unlocked it for you. The reason why this account was locked is because we detected multiple email addresses being linked to this account. We’ve been experiencing increasing spam usage of our free credits on the trial, so we recently implemented some robust security measures against this as we grow! Noticing that most of the emails appear to be from the same team, I'd recommend inviting these users to your workspace to prevent further security issues moving forward. :)
Samuel··Hey Owen C. thank you! But I am unsure what do you mean by "we detected multiple email addresses being linked to this account". It's my personal account for side projects. It's pretty new (created it about a month ago) but no other accounts are linked to it from my knowledge. But my co-worker is also playing around with clay but from different domain and on a ore serious use case (not a side project). Perhaps the same IP might be causing it? Just trying to troubleshoot it for you 🙂

Totally hear you and appreciate the proactivity! In this case, the linked accounts were flagged because they were detected on the same network. This can happen when there isn't enough certainty about whether the accounts are legitimate or not. Resolved :)! Hi Owen C., it's me again (for the last time, I promise) 😄 got too excited about Clay and decide to help my colleague with our real work (not just my side project). Could you please unblock the (email in your DM) - Feel free to delete the (email in your DM) account if that's against your terms to have two accounts 🙂 I truly just wanted to test the waters (not misuse your credits) and potentially try it as the side project. Amazing product you have here!
