When I edit a write-to-table column after already running it once. For example, I am adding to the write-to-table enrichment another column I want it to copy. It just ignores it and does not succeed in fulfilling my edit. Why is that?
💤 You've caught us outside of our support hours (9am-9pm EST), but don't worry - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in the thread below so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hi Noa, thanks for reaching out! Do you mind sending the link to the table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1730216700&signature=c2c823d3af9216f1261f17c4ef649644a0e62adbf25fac41bf6245a10cda00ea&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSv%2BB5ER2BKsam%2FhVPsI5g%3D%3D%0A
Here is the link to the table https://app.clay.com/workspaces/312137/workbooks/wb_vwikPWBDfaQi/tables/t_2dq45fwEpMW7/views/gv_JmQVjKojrNn9 but you will not see the example because what I did is to delete the enrichment and the leads that were added from in order to add the extra column of data that I missed.
Thanks for sharing the link! Deleting the previous enrichment and leads before adding new data is the right approach. Since our “Write to Table” feature doesn’t function as an upsert, it won’t update data from prior runs, so removing previous entries is necessary to pass in fresh data. Let me know if there’s anything more you need help with! 😊
https://app.clay.com/workspaces/312137/workbooks/wb_vwikPWBDfaQi/tables/t_rgXG2BZxMNoM/views/gv_7jqooz7Y7Zwv so I have now this final table of leads. I want to add prior information on the company associated with those leads that exist in previous tables, such as this one https://app.clay.com/workspaces/312137/workbooks/wb_vwikPWBDfaQi/tables/t_5pKsVRS33Nw2/views/gv_jUVMmqVhEZa4 and this one https://app.clay.com/workspaces/312137/workbooks/wb_vwikPWBDfaQi/tables/t_2dq45fwEpMW7/views/gv_JmQVjKojrNn9 is there no way to do it based enriching the companies?
To add prior company information to your final table of leads, you can use the “lookup” function to pull in data from your previous tables. Here’s a video guide showing how to set up lookups to enrich the companies associated with your leads. Let me know if you’d like any additional help with this!
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
