I noticed that when searching leads, i can filter by the profile description, but when i import it to a lead table, i can't see the description i just filtered on. Is that another enrichment i need to do? If so, which native enrichment do i use?
Yes, you need additional enrichment. Not all data available in the Find People modal appears in your table after import. For profile descriptions, use Enrich Person enrichments which include bio data. You can add this enrichment after importing by clicking "Add enrichment" and searching for person enrichment options that include biographical information. Tip: Skip default enrichments during import to conserve credits, then add specific enrichments once you understand what data you need.
Hi, thank you for reaching out. Could you please clarify what you would like to achieve through this use case? I want to make sure I understand the question fully so I can assist you. Also, do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look?
so the goal is to essentially a) see if the search worked correctly by having something to compare to first manually and then later in an automated way and b) to create additional prompts off that data
Hey - Do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look?
Hi, in order to see the filters set to carry out your search, select "find people" and then "Edit source" and the menu will appear on the right of your screen showing the parameters, including the keywords.
Checking whether this worked correctly would require the use of a formula, where you can ask the system to verify whether the word "founder" is present in the "Job Title" column. Let me know if you need help setting this up. As a heads up, usually the searches are correct, but happy to verify this too! Regarding your second question, could you please let me know what additional prompts you would like to run off the data we have?
Right so the thing is, I'm not worried abou the job title, more that the contents of the profile description.
prompts can be anything -- "parse eout the person's interests and make a warmup phrase" for example
the whole point of clay si to experiment, right? 🙂
Hi in order to see a person's profile description, you will first have to enrich their LinkedIn profile. To achieve this, you can use our "Enrich Person From Profile" feature. Simply go to "Add Column" > "Add Enrichment", then search for "Enrich Person from Profile" as demonstrated below.
From the menu that appears, ensure that the "LinkedIn URL" column is selected under "Social Profile Identifier," as shown below:
Next, click "Continue to add fields." In the menu that appears, toggle on any information you want to display as its own column in your Clay table. For example, in the screenshot below, I am selecting the number of followers per LinkedIn profile.
After that, click "Save," and the columns should appear in your table. Following this, you would have to set up a GPT column to analyse the contents of the description. Happy to show you how to do that too! Let me know if this works for you!
perfect, this is what i wanted
thanks
Happy to help!
