I'm trying to figure out how to use claygent to pull data related to government contracts granted in the last year. There are a couple sites that display this data like contractfinderpro.com but not sure of the best way to pull this information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey hey! Can you drop the URL for your table here? (if applicable) ๐ซถ Don't worry, only admins will be able to open your table ๐
Hey Callum, thanks for reaching out! Just checked the page but it seems it has a search bar to generate a search, right? Not sure if can navigate the site if told to do so, and potentially find the page that has that data. Then ask it to extract certain values, that could help. Let me know if you tried that already though.
Or maybe if someone else using it for something similar has some insights, it would be great!
so I can find the page through a Google search without having to input the data on the site but for some reason Claygent isn't doing this. I guess some insight into how it works might allow me to understand how to go about things.
Got it! What I've seen some users do is ask Claygent in the prompt section to actually navigate Google or generate a Google search. Maybe you give it a specific query it should run and then crawl to that page to extract the data. I haven't tested this out myself but seen people give similar, specific directions to it.
