Inquiry About G2 Review Scraper Integration and Apify Connector

Hi team! There used to be a native G2 review scraper integration, where the latest 20 reviews for a given company were pulled into Clay - has that been deprecated? Is the next best approach to use an Apify connector? Thanks 🙂

Hey there! You’re right, the native G2 review scraper integration has been deprecated. Your best bet now would be to use an Apify connector, or you could also try ZenRows for scraping. Additionally, there are a few APIs, like those available through RapidAPI, that could be connected to extract the data. Let me know if you need help setting any of these up! 😊

Cool, this makes sense to me! Thanks Bo. It would be awesome if there was a way to dynamically insert the "input" for the Apify worker (i.e. G2 company slug, linkedin company slug, linkedin jobs search link, etc.) from within Clay. As it is set up right now, I would have to add companies that I want to scrape, on an ongoing basis, into Apify, taking me out of Clay. Is there some method I'm missing here when it comes to Apify worker calls where I can inject params from within Clay's UI?

Hey Ajay, You don’t have to leave Clay to trigger Apify! You can go to the enrichment panel by clicking the “Add Enrichment” button at the top right of the page. Then, type “Apify” to connect your Apify account and select your actor. This allows you to run Apify workers directly from within Clay, using dynamic inputs like G2 company slugs or LinkedIn URLs.
